Nia Hamilton-Ibu
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I value supporting people through mind-body-spirit therapeutic social justice approaches. Incorporating one’s cultural as well as community resources is essential to support healing. Acknowledging the whole self to address how stress and trauma impact the body and spirit aids in fostering wellness. Acknowledging the impact of social dynamics and oppression honors the hardships and strengths of an individual and communities to aid with supporting holistic and intergenerational wellness.

My practice is informed by a social justice, anti-oppression, trauma focused and collaborative lens with psychodynamic training. In my 18+ years of providing therapy, I am honored to help people recognize and enhance their own internal strengths, resiliency and ability to heal while also sharing tools and teaching copings skills.

Patrice Ford Lyn
CEO & Founder of Catapult Change
Patrice has taken many risks and felt the tremendous emotions that accompanied them. She has packed up and moved to a different country more than once. Left a "secure" job to do the work she loves more than once. She even left a bad situation and bought an open ticket to Brazil having no idea how long she would be there or what would happen next.
And, she has also felt the paralysis of fear that kept her stuck for years. She knows that the right support - perspective, tools, compassion, community and accountability - makes all the difference.
And, that’s why she does this beautiful work. So that you can have a safe space to pause, reflect, assess and step into possibilities greater than you can currently imagine.
It’s okay to feel frustrated, it means you are ready for change.
