A Few Words About Words...

Language is constantly evolving, and the words society comes up with can be inadequate in fully reflecting and honoring our humxn experiences. I want to acknowledge the following in regards to my use of ‘womxn’:

While SBWR is about recognizing the experiences of cis-gender women, transgender women, and nonbinary persons, I prefer to use the term ‘womxn’ to distance myself from white feminism and to avoid defining myself in relation to men.
